The promoter is responsible for the creation of some of the IT capital’s milestone edifices such as Manipal Centre, Taj Residency, Vijaya Bank headquarters and Diamond District. The brand also has to its credit the rare feat of buying a site on M G Road at a mere Re. 5 per sqft long ago in 1973; while the same costs a whopping Rs. 20,000 per sqft today. With an estimated bank balance of USD 2 billion, a landmass of over 3000 acres and beyond 10 million sqft of developed sites encompassing hotels, offices, residences and academic institutions, Century Real Estate is currently the biggest real estate establishment in Bangalore.
